第一隻馬,由於事前只求完跑,不敢輕視,起初用6分半速,10K 輕鬆易過,感覺未有用力,接着另一個10K,斜多,仍然保持慢速,留力走尾後半程。20到30K,是整個比賽最輕快的過程,真正享受長跑。到32K,左膝開始投訴,忍住慢捱,逐K 捱到38。 踏入尾程4K,雙腳已沒有感覺,只會向前走。最後2K,感覺仍有力,慢慢加速,到衝線1K 走回正常PACING,爽住衝過終點。 跑了就懂,原來走全馬很有趣,由起初有力,到逐漸乏力,再回升氣力,依靠都是一點意志,是一種不可放棄的態度與忍耐精神。日本馬的安排與比賽氣氛實在是給初馬選手的最佳練習。
